Leigh
Corners is located on a sloping corner lot with an existing
historically significant, Victorian-styled farm house. The
charming architectural details of the house are remembered
in both the scale and detail of the new facades. Diamond windows,
decorative gable ornament, hip dormer roofs and bay windows
all combine to reflect the old in the new. The new buildings'
lower levels consist of "old town" shops, raised
above grade to allow maximum visability of the store windows.
On the upper floor, skylights, cathedral ceilings and dormers
combine to create "loft-type" offices.
