River House
The
Potomac River House is a multi-story house cut sharply into
a steep rocky slope, giving the house dramatic river views
from almost all of the spaces. The stone exterior gives the
house a textual relationship with the site, making it seem
more of a part of the rock cliffs than separate from them.
